About the Event
The Christian Prayer Lunch is an annual event that brings together men and women from across our community to hear from an inspiring speaker and pray for our local, state, and national leaders. The Follow On events continue the conversation after the prayer breakfast!

History of the Event
The idea of a prayer breakfast was brought to Fort Worth by Bill Garrison in 1986. After attending a Dallas prayer breakfast event, he held a gathering of local business leaders to discuss creating a similar event for Fort Worth. The group’s desire was to bring together all types of community leaders to pray for local, state, and national leaders. They also realized the opportunity to provide an inspirational and challenging message from an individual living out their faith in Christ.
